3 Tales Sauvignon Blanc
A very cool start to the growing season meant early vine development wasnt quite as vigorous as the previous few years but a warm, dry November put this right. A noticeable drop in temperature and 10mm of rain was to coincide with the critical stages of flowering and fruit set and goes some way to explain the lighter than usual 2015 Sauvignon yields. By Christmas the weather had begun to warm up again and we hit a sustained purple patch of weather that lasted through to early March. After a brief period of much welcomed rain the grape intake took place in cool, dry conditions.
