Description
Coonawarra Wine Makers is synonymous with premium wines made from only exceptional parcels of wine. Following crushing, the wine was fermented on skins for up to seven days, this allows optimum release of colour and flavour without extracting excessive tnnins from this unique aged parcel from a vineyard area synonymous with Dalwood Hermitage of the 1970's. This parcel completed fermentation in seasoned with oak. Aromas of rich berry fruits, eucalypt and mint are highlighted by gentle hints of warm spice. The palate is soft, rich and elegant with subtle vanillin oak, fine structural tannins and a lingering finish.
This Coonawarra Winemakers Cabernet Sauvignon displays the unique and distinctive characters of alluvial soils, and softness with drinkability to enjoy upon release yet the longevity to age with exceptional grace to 2020. Matches well with red meats and red pasta sauces.
