The 1998 Ebenezer Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot displays the richness and complexity of flavour for which the Barossa Valley is known. The fruit for this wine was sourced mainly from dry-grown vineyards in the north of the Barossa Valley. These low yielding vines which constantly compete for moisture and nutrition produce grapes of intense flavour.
This wine displays rich, blackberry and plum flavours, complemented by subtle well-balanced oak complexity. The finish is long and alluring with velvety tannins that will soften with careful cellaring
