Bacalhoa Moscatel De Setubal Superior 10 Anos

Description

This wine was made exclusively from Moscatel de Setubal grapes, from a single vintage grown in our vineyards located in the calcereous rocky hills near Arrabida.

After a short fermentation, selected wine brandy is added and the fortified wine macerates on skins until the end of the winter.

It is then aged for eight years in small barrels, placed in a special warehouse which allows natural temprature variations.

This, combined with the reduced volume of each barrel, provokes an intense concentration in flavour and aroma, and accentuates even more the Moscatel de Setubal characteristics.
