Established in 1751 by a winemaking family with vineyards in the Douro, A.A. Ferreira rose to prominence under the leadership of Dona Antonia A. Ferreira (1811-1896) a legendary figure in the history of port.
Produced from carefully selected grapes from the Upper Douro, Ferreira Vintage 1999 has a bright intense colour with aromas of ripe, concentrated fruits and chocolate.
We recommend that you savour Ferreira Vintage as an after-meal drink accompanied by strong cheese or even during your meal with game or strong flavoured meats such as pepper steak.
Given its characteristics, Vintage should always be stored horizontally and decanted before serving.
