For this years blend we have selected grapes grown in the Barossa sub-regions of Bethany, Eden, Krondorf, Seeppeltsfield and Vine Vale. It is this tapestry of "Terroirs" which enables us to faithfully recreate one of the Barossa's original wine styles. This synergistic trio seamlessly combines the elegance, power and structure only achievable in a blended wine. Liften aromas of blackberry, black cherry and raspberry are accompanied by spicy, dark berry fruits and white pepper on the palate. The finish is long with fine-grained tannins from fifteen months maturation in a combination of new and seasoned American and French oak barrels. Although drinking well now the wine will benefit from cellaring.
